Weymouth Accommodation Questionnaire
As detailed in the January and February IFDS Bulletins, I can confirm that the IFDS are working with representatives from Weymouth & Portland Borough Council which will help disabled athletes find suitable accommodation close to the venue, namely for the following events:
Skandia Sail For Gold Regatta, 9-14 August 2010
Skandia Sail For Gold Regatta, 6-11 June 2011
IFDS Disabled Sailing World Championship, 1-8 July 2011
Skandia Sail For Gold Regatta, 11-16 June 2012
Click this link to find an MS Word file of a questionnaire which I would be grateful if disabled athletes can please complete and return to me by 0900 GMT, Monday 12 April 2010. Please only return one questionnaire per boat.
Please note that although a number of accessible facilities have been identified, the events which will include the Paralympic Classes will be taking place at busy times of the year. Disabled athletes are requested to reply to this email as soon as possible, no later than 0900 GMT, Monday 12 April 2010.
Please feel free to forward this email onto any disabled athlete who may benefit from the help of Weymouth & Portland Borough Council.
