2020 Frensham Hansa TT - CANCELLED news article
The decision has been made to CANCEL the 2020 Frensham Hansa TT that was planned for Wednesday 16th September.
This is due to the measures taken both Locally and Nationally to control the spread of the Corona virus COVID-19 to our shielded and vulnerable community members.
We look forward to organising a TT with Peter and all our friends at Frensham Sailability in 2021.
Thank you for your patients throughout this year as we phased the cancellations and pencilled in options with clubs as the year went on (none of which were able to be used but a big thank you to those clubs). in This way we kept our options open in the rapidly changing word of covid19.
All our Hansa Class UK programmed “on the water” sailing events have now been cancelled. I echo Peters words and say “Let’s hope that we are all in a better place in 2021”, when we will hopefully be arranging a return to our full racing programme.
