New Hansa/Access Class Rules and Special C R now published on this website news article
At the November2013 meeting of the ACA(UK) it was agreed in principle that we would apply the new Hansa and Liberty class rules once they were approved by ISAF.
Although these are not yet officially approved by the ISAF it was since agreed that we would apply these rules in the UK from the 1st of September 2013.
We have therefore updated our "ACA(UK)Special Class Rules" page and "ACA(UK) Class Rules" page of this website accordingly.
Our Class Rules page provides links to the Class Rules page of the International Hansa Class Association (IHCA) website that will ensure that the rules are always the latest version.
The main change for our sailors is the requirement for “bailers attached by lanyards” to be carried by all Hansa/Access boats and we will be requiring all boats taking part in our events from 1st September 2013 (i.e. TTs and Nationals) to comply with this rule.
